New chapter, big thank you

I just loved the Riverland Rose and Garden Festival last month.

Michelle and her team of volunteers need to be commenced.

The display oozed with country, friendly and charming character. There was so much to like, so friendly looking, and even with the shortage of roses it didn’t matter, with the Riverland rallying around in typical fashion, bringing in some of the well-known, old-fashioned varieties that were in their garden.

This made it special and the sandwich boards added to the ambience of the festival with meaningful verses. The display was so well done, and I look forward to next year.

A big thank you to the lovely couple who came to my rescue during the Saturday of long weekend, when I failed to adhere to the precautions for hot weather. They provided me with a welcome bottle of water, and were truly life savers
