Science Week - Birdwatching Wetland Wonders
Renmark Irrigation Trust are bringing locals and visitors a chance to explore Renmark's hidden and forgotten floodplains that are thriving after their environmental watering program. Join them for a guided walk to look for native woodland and wetland birds or get hands on collecting insects - contributing to the first invertebrate record for Renmark's floodplains. Led by RIT ecologist, Freya Harrigall, the two events will provide you with insight into how native species are making a comeback in the floodplains. Be part of contributing to the collection of real-world scientific data! No experience required, bookings are essential.
