Man suffers ‘significant burns’ at Waikerie

A Riverland man remains in hospital with critical injuries after suffering burns in a local town last night.

Upon arrival a 27-year-old local man was located with critical injuries, and was transported to Waikerie Hospital before being flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
A 26-year-old woman who was also at the address was arrested after throwing a bottle that caused a window on the attending ambulance to smash.

The woman was charged with property damage and was bailed to appear in court on February 7.

It is understood police believe there was no suspicious behaviour regarding the situation.
