RESTRICTIONS have been reduced for people wanting to access the River Murray in Zone D – above Lock 2 but below Lock 3, including Overland Corner and Waikerie.
SA Police announced tonight that in Zone D, people can now operate a motorised vessel (including a jet-ski, but not a houseboat). However, they must not exceed a speed of 10 knots or tow a person from the vessel.
People can also fish or yabby from their motorised boats in Zone D.
The emergency management River Murray update follows last week’s easing of restrictions from the border to Overland Corner.
