Eastern claim fifth at Lyndoch

THE break in RFL action provided an opportunity for the region’s leading footballers to represent the Eastern Zone at the 2026 South Australia Country Football Championships in the Barossa.

The Eastern Zone squad was made up of players from the Riverland Football League, River Murray Football League, Hills Football League and Murray Valley Football League, bringing together some of the best country football talent from across the eastern regions of the state.
