Years go by: Rx55 Steam locomotive
Built by the South Australian Railways (SAR) in 1913, this work horse locomotive and others of its class travelled many kilometres hauling freight and passengers along railways of the Northern Mallee and elsewhere.
Steam engine Rx55, now at the Historical Village, is seen here in the mid-1960s, behind (east of) Loxton’s Oval Number 2.
