We’re racing…in daylight saving

THIS Sunday’s rescheduled 2025 Mindarie-Halidon Cup meeting will have a later-than-usual start, to take advantage of daylight saving.

The shift from September to October means the first race will be no earlier than 12.55pm and possibly as late as 1.25pm. The final race is likely to be scheduled around 5pm.

Temperatures at the historic Halidon racecourse are forecast to reach somewhere between 30C and 33C.
