Weather knocks out power for Riverland residents

More than 5000 Riverland residents are without power this afternoon after wild weather lashed the region.

Seven separate outages have been reported in Loxton, Waikerie, Moorook, Kingston-on-Murray and several surrounding towns.

SA Power Networks is currently reporting that extreme weather conditions have caused the outages and is estimating power will be restored between 10pm tonight and 12.45am tomorrow morning.
