Riverland goes dark

TIM Whetstone says a planned power outage that will affect the entire Riverland this weekend will add risks for locals that rely on medical devices and irrigation infrastructure.

ElectraNet last week announced a region-wide power outage would take place this Sunday, November 9, between 1am and 5am, in order for maintenance work on transmission lines to be undertaken.
