North hold off fast-finishing Berri

ONE of the best games of the season was played at the Toyota Arena on Friday night, with Berri and Loxton North producing a high-quality contest. Both sides entered the match needing a win to strengthen their chances of finishing second on the ladder and securing the valuable double chance in finals.

Loxton North made the ideal start, scoring the opening four goals and establishing an early advantage. Despite both teams making some unforced errors, the intensity remained high as every goal had to be earned. North held a three-goal lead at the first break.
