National Trust to face inquiry

A LOCAL long-time volunteer says she is “glad politicians are finally listening” after her months-long campaign has seen the National Trust of South Australia (NTSA) become the subject of a parliamentary inquiry.

Riverland-based MLC, and SA Liberal leader in the upper house, Nicola Centofanti met with Renmark National Trust chair Ann Ryan at the Renmark-based Olivewood Historic Homestead and Museum on Monday morning, with the pair coming together to discuss frustrations.
A LOCAL long-time volunteer says she is “glad politicians are finally listening” after her months-long campaign has seen the National Trust of South Australia (NTSA) become the subject of a parliamentary inquiry.
The Legislative Council unanimously passed the motion of Riverland-based MLC, and SA Liberal leader in the upper house, Nicola Centofanti last week, which will now seek to address recent local concerns surrounding the NTSA through a parliamentary inquiry.
