It ends level between Red and Blue

REIGNING Riverland Baseball League premiers Berri Red have started season 2025/26 in emphatic fashion, finishing level with Renmark Blue after four innings each.

In a slow start, Berri eventually opened up the scoring in the second innings, with a seven-run effort.

Renmark Blue made connection, but failed to score, and Berri only managed one more run for the remainder of the game.

The bottom third saw Renmark Blue score two more, levelling the game up at eight apiece with time eventually called.

Renmark did taste some success on the night, defeating the newly-formed Mildura Eagles by 8-5.
