LIKE many Riverlanders, Gwen Webber is keen to again take part in The Murray Pioneer 2023 AFL Footy Tippers Competition, which offers more prizes than ever before – including over 100 weekly meal vouchers.

The coupon for Round 1 is in today’s Pioneer, on page 27.

“I’ve won some prizes in The Pioneer’s tipping competition before,” she said.

“I enjoy doing it every season, like so many other people.”

The 2023 AFL season begins on Thursday, March 16.

A trip to the Barossa is on the line for this year’s competitors. First prize is two nights’ accommodation in a Superior King Suite and breakfast for two at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort.

The winner will also be able to nominate a second couple to accompany them, with a second package of two nights’ accommodation and breakfast for two included.

A bottle of Barossa wine in each room upon arrival will start the getaway off right, followed by a three-course dinner for four in The Cellar Kitchen regional restaurant on site at Novotel Barossa.

The total prize package is valued at over $2500.

Second prize is a $1000 voucher to spend at Berri Betta Electrical, and third prize is a $500 voucher for Caudo Vineyard.
