Bowls reigning champs begin in top form

TWO rounds into the newest Riverland bowls division one Saturday pennants competition, reigning premier Berri is already away to a strong start.

Berri made it two wins from as many outings on Saturday afternoon, travelling to Renmark to face The Lawns, and emerging 27-shot victors.

It was a comprehensive display from the visiting side, sweeping the rinks in impressive fashion to surge to the win.
