Amcal Loxton Pharmacies proprietor Tom Edwards has been forced to cut staff and reduce business hours as a direct result of last month’s Federal Budget. The changes will see some patients able to obtain 60 days’ worth of medicine at a time, instead of the current 30 days, meaning pharmacies will have their incomes cut via the reduction in dispensing fees.
