FOOTY headed down river on Saturday, for the clash of old rivals Waikerie and Renmark. All grades are heating up on the run to finals, as we head into lucky round 13 with the pointy end of the season is just around the corner.
In the under 13s, Waikerie were far too strong for Renmark, winning by 43 points. Kobi Cryer was impressive and Jackson Jaeger played inspired football for the young Maggies. Lawson Dring played well for Renmark.
Under 15s football never looked so intense as Renmark overwhelmed Waikerie by 45 points. Ivan Atsaves was best on ground and Phoenix Pearce kicked four majors for the Rovers. Beau Kuchel was fabulous for Waikerie.
In the under 18s, Renmark continued their impressive form with a 76-point win over the Magpies. Isaac Carson, Henry Dring and Riely Harding all bagged three goals for Renmark. Ajay Barker was fast and furious for Waikerie.
In the B grade Renmark outclassed Waikerie by 30 points in a scrap. Savi Randhawa played some classy footy for Renmark. Dillon Golan was very strong and hard for an unlucky Waikerie.

Over in Barmera, the Roos made light work of the Panthers in their B grade clash, holding Loxton North to one goal while kicking 10 themselves.
Wyatt Nuske, Aiden Scordo and Clayton Williams all bagged two goals for the Roos in the win, while Riley Haigh and Zac Galvin starred across the day.
A total of 21 goals from the under 18 Barmera-Monash side helped them to a 130-point victory on Saturday, led up forward by Tony Drogemuller and Jake McCracken, who kicked seven goals and six goals respectively.
Along with the two star forwards, Brody Scordo was one of his side’s best, dominating at the contest all day.
Three goals from Mason Clarke, Samuel Walker and Xavier Wegener have seen Barmera-Monash get home in the under 15 fixture.
Tyler Klingbiel and Emerson Vincent starred for the young Roos, who hardly put a foot wrong all day, while Murphy Yandell kicked the only goal for Loxton North, while Mitchell Obst and Noah Gray found plenty of the football throughout the game.
A strong second half has seen Barmera-Monash claim a 30-point win over Loxton North in the under 13s match, led by Joel Rathbone, who produced a masterclass performance for his side.
Not only was he best on ground, but he kicked four of his sides seven goals in the win, leading from the front across multiple areas on the ground.
Jesse Tullett and Mitchell Alm ran all day for the young Panthers and failed to give up in the second half, willing their side along with them.
In Loxton, the Tigers recorded a resounding 127-point win in the B grade match, with star forward Luke Pontt kicking nine goals in the win.
Lane Smith added three goals of his own, while Braden Falting and Tristan Jackson kicked two goals each.
For Berri, Heath Campbell played a strong game, with strong support from Brayden Pankhurst, Trent Dolling and Yianna Exarheas.
Tyler Marlor kicked five goals in the under 18s to see his Loxton side come away with a victory over Berri.
Ethan Hyde and Brok Duthie played exceptional through the middle of the ground, while for Berri, Jack Hunter kicked his sides only two goals.
Captain Lucas Deren led his side to an emphatic win against Berri in the under 15s, kicking eight goals early Saturday morning.
Samuel Hucks added a goal of his own in a strong performance on the ball for Loxton, while Charlie Wishart, Tyreece Giles and Chance Morgan all starred for Berri in the defeat.
Four goals from Bruno Thiele-Butterworth led his side to a win in the under 13s over Berri, as Mack Bullock and Caleb Hampel won plenty of the football across the ground for the Tigers.
Henry Elphick and Will Staehr played strong games for Berri despite the result.
