Water Matters: SA’s irrigation allocation

LAST week’s announcement that SA’s Class 3 High Security Water Access Entitlements have reached 100 per cent allocation, the 15th year in a row, reflects the careful crafting of South Australia’s Murray River water allocation plan by people who understood the Millenium Drought lessons.

LAST week’s announcement that SA’s Class 3 High Security Water Access Entitlements have reached 100 per cent allocation, the 15th year in a row, reflects the careful crafting of South Australia’s Murray River water allocation plan by people who understood the Millenium Drought lessons.
Every year on April 15, a public announcement provides early indication to irrigators of what water will definitely be available from July 1.
