Support coming for Stevie

RIVERLANDERS are still able to donate to the cause of a young community member, with all funds collected through the month of August set to support continued research into childhood genetic diseases and birth defects.

Community support for the local fundraiser of Stevie Arnold – Strides for Stevie – has raised more than $4000 for the Children’s Medical Research Institute during the month of August so far, with the family of the Berri three-year-old hoping their campaign can help direct critical funds towards the development of treatments, plus raise awareness, for conditions such a Rett syndrome – a rare genetic disorder their toddler lives with.
