Support coming for Stevie

RIVERLANDERS are still able to donate to the cause of a young community member, with all funds collected through the month of August set to support continued research into childhood genetic diseases and birth defects.

The local fundraiser of Stevie Arnold – Strides for Stevie – is currently open for donations during the month of August, with the family of the Berri three-year-old – including mother Aniesha Alderson – hoping their campaign can help direct critical funds towards the development of treatments, plus raise awareness, for conditions such a Rett Syndrome – a rare genetic disorder their toddler lives with. Community support for the local fundraiser of Stevie Arnold – Strides for Stevie – has raised more than $4000 for the Children’s Medical Research Institute during the month of August so far, with the family of the Berri three-year-old hoping their campaign can help direct critical funds towards the development of treatments, plus raise awareness, for conditions such a Rett syndrome – a rare genetic disorder their toddler lives with.
