Statue of Monash playground creator to be unveiled

THE creator of an iconic and much-loved Riverland playground will be honoured with a statue unveiling later this month, with the community invited to celebrate the occasion.

The late Grant Telfer – the developer of the original Monash Playground – will soon be immortalised in a bronze statue, with the monument set to be unveiled to the local community on Sunday, August 23, from 11am, at the now-named Monash Adventure Park.
