THE last meeting of the Renmark Men’s Probus Club, held on Monday 17 June at Hotel Renmark, began with the official induction of one of our newest members, Neil Munday, by president Ian McLaren.
Our guest speaker was Sharyn Moll from Riverland Funerals, who gave us a wealth of information on every aspect of what is involved in the preparation and presentation of a funeral.
Next meeting is Monday 15 July, at Hotel Renmark Function Room and guest speaker will be our own member Brenton Morrell to talk on U3A (University of the Third Age) and his personal history.
Monday 19 August: Hotel Renmark Function Room and guest speakers will be our own members Kevin Schopp and Allan Maddocks.
If any member has some item they consider may be of interest to other members I would be only too happy to include it in the monthly newsletter.
Almoner: Our ‘Almoner’, Dean Evans, would appreciate if all members attending a meeting have the right change of $5 for morning tea and to wear their name badge. Also if you know of any member who is unwell please let Dean know.
