Office for Regional Housing’s Riverland recruitment blitz

RENEWAL SA has begun a recruitment blitz for the newly established Office for Regional Housing, with the Riverland a key focus.

The Office for Regional Housing was established by the State Government last month in a bid to tackle chronic housing shortages in South Australia’s regions.

The Riverland was identified as an area in critical need of fit-for-purpose housing stock and will be one of the first areas of focus for the new office.

As a result, Renewal SA has begun a recruitment blitz to rapidly upscale its operations to deliver on the government’s housing initiatives.

“These jobs will play a direct role in easing housing supply issues and unlocking economic growth potential in regional South Australia,” said Matthew Hunt, director of the Office for Regional Housing.

“We are looking for people who have strong community connections, especially with local government stakeholders and major employers, and a solid understanding of the challenges faced in the regions, particularly related to housing.

“Ultimately, we want to create lasting economic and community impact in the regions, so this is a call-to-action for passionate people wanting to make meaningful change.”

The office is recruiting for multiple roles in the regions, including the Riverland.
