A PRACTICAL workshop, held at Loxton, gave Riverland and Mallee growers the opportunity to examine whether soil amelioration could deliver worthwhile returns in low-rainfall farming systems.
Mallee Sustainable Farming hosted its Making Soil Amelioration Pay in the Mallee workshop at The Precinct, in Loxton, on Friday, bringing together researchers, advisers and growers to discuss the opportunities and risks involved in improving sandy soils.
