Look at your driving habits
I AM astounded at the stupidity of most Aussie motorists.

At present, in case they haven’t noticed, there is a global fuel crisis. To me, that calls for an adjustment in driving habits.
I read in the RAA motoring magazine some years ago that the difference between travelling at 90km/h, and 110km/h on the open road is a 25 per cent saving in fuel.
To frugal people like myself that is a significant saving. especially on long trips, plus it conserves fuel. People may argue that 90 km/h is a dangerous speed, but the only dangers are the impatient, reckless idiots who choose to pass when it is not safe to do so. Ditto when the conditions are wet, or when driving in the position of the sun. I have my headlights shining when the sun is behind me, especially later in the day, for further safety.
It is not selfish, as I keep an eye out in my rear vision for semi-trailer drivers coming up behind me and as soon as it is practical, I move over for them to overtake, as their time is money.
The rest can wait until there are overtaking lanes. Tell that to the gung-ho boofheads who drive as if there is no tomorrow, or those towing oversized caravans or boats at speed.
I also consider that the government needs to change the speed limits, as some roads are not fit for the allowed speeds. The speed limit in the eastern states is 100km/h, but little old SA still clings to the past.
I wonder sometimes if the majority of the driving public cut their car licences out from the back of cereal packets.
