RIVERLAND schools have once again celebrated the magic of reading, with local children enjoying a range of storytelling activities and costume parades to mark 2026’s Book Week.

School’s across the region hosted a range of literary celebrations for Children’s Book Week last week, with the annual event including the beloved tradition of students donning the costumes of their favourite characters for parades attended by family, friends, and the wider community.
