Fed Gov says water buybacks helping restore Basin health
On November 30, 2023, the Australian parliament passed amendments to the Water Amendment
THE Federal Government has welcomed the progress it says is being achieved in restoring the health of the Murray-Darling Basin, since introducing water buybacks in 2023 to reduce the environmental pressure on the river system.
