Expanded PATS Scheme to benefit local patients

A LOCAL politician has reminded Riverland patients seeking benefits from a health service travel scheme to fully understand their eligibility and how they can access it, with new expanded benefits to access and accommodation subsidy coming into effect today.

A LOCAL politician has reminded Riverland patients seeking benefits from a health service travel scheme to fully understand their eligibility and how they can access it, with new expanded benefits to access and accommodation subsidy coming into effect today.
The Patient Assistance Travel Scheme (PATS) will triple its accommodation subsidy, from $44 to $110 per night for an individual, and $154 per night for patients with an approved support person accompanying them.
