Eagles soar past Berri to take the points

COMPETITION newcomers Mildura Eagles sent a defining statement to the Riverland Baseball League on Friday night, as the competition held its charity round at Glassey Park.

Eagles jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Gary Fallon drew a walk, scoring one run, and Riley Halupka induced Andrew Kenny to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs were scored.
