CANCELLED: Covid cuts short Riverland’s Phantom production

COVID has cut short the Riverland Musical Society’s (RMS) 2022 production of The Phantom of the Opera.

The show opened to rave reviews last weekend, and was scheduled to again be performed at Renmark’s Chaffey Theatre for its second and final weekend this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

RMS broke the bad news today, describing it as a “hard decision”, particularly as the show cannot be rescheduled.

A spokesperson said after months of preparation and rehearsals, cast, crew and committee were extremely disappointed.
