Behind The Business: Riverland Skips and Recycling

The family owned business Riverland Skips and Recycling have been around awhile now and have provided waste management services for projects small as a residential household cleanup and as large as the construction of the Accolade Wines bottling plant, but it’s the work they’ve put into the resource recovery part of business that the family is most proud of.

“What I’m proud of most is the last few years we’ve been able to take control of all our own logistics,” Riverland Skips manager Chris Minerds said, who is the manager of the Barmera-based business.

“From the moment we pick up a skip bin in the Riverland, it’s in the hands of our teams until the contents reach their end destination(s).

“When a customer chooses Riverland Skips, they’re ensuring that every dollar they spend and the subsequent revenue generated from the resource recovery we perform; stays in Australia. That means more to me these days than anything else.

“We are more than just rubbish collection service now, and I couldn’t be prouder of the team or more thankful for their efforts.”

Riverland Skips and Recycling services are available 5 days a week and Saturdays by prior arrangement, and offer a free consultation process prior to engagement.
