HAVING volunteered since the age of 12, Renmark man Jackson Wickham hopes to be a role model to other young locals who want to lend a helping hand.

Mr Wickham recently shared his story while catching up with Riverland MP Tim Whetstone as part of National Youth Volunteer Week.
