While speaking to a long-time resident of the Riverland just recently, I was told that the next flood will be in the year 2025. Turns out this information came from a First Nation’s elder. What about all the sophisticated weather patterns that our government serves out to our taxpayers at their expense each year when we can rely on our First Nation’s people to predict such weather patterns. So are we expected to believe highly paid university-bred book readers? Or shall we put faith in the people who claim originality? Buggered if I know.
