STUDENTS from the Riverland were last week involved in the SAPSASA River and Hills hockey team, playing a carnival at Adelaide University Playing Fields, West Beach.
Under the theme of ‘learning to play and playing to learn’, students were coached by Riverland-based coaches.
Sarah Schiller, of Waikerie Primary, took charge of the girls side, Brooke Burlik-Kelly, of Berri Regional Secondary College, coached the boys, and Loxton Lutheran’s Amelia Waters took charge of the mixed team.
