Our Jonty makes his SANFL debut

THE top-five finals race heated up coming out of round 16 in the Men’s SANFL competition.
With the top four spots locked in and now a battle for who will finish 2nd behind undefeated Sturt in progress, the race for fifth spot has now come down to four hungry teams, Port, Eagles, Norwood and North.
Round 17 landed some topsy-turvy results that made every die-hard SANFL fan reach for the calculator and the prayer beads. Congratulations to the Riverland’s Jonty Koehne, who made his league debut for West Adelaide, against Norwood on Saturday.
The whole of the Riverland’s heart goes out to North Adelaide’s Sam Ramsay, who has a big fight on his hand with a horrible deadly illness that threatens his life. A major fundraiser has been set up for him this round and we wish him all the best. Go Sam.
