Demons hit the top four

BERRI currently sits in a finals position on the RFL A grade ladder, after recording its third win of the 2025 season against Loxton.
The Demons saw a convincing 26-point win on their home turf of RFL headquarters, after kicking two goals in the opening quarter, answering Jesse Will’s opener for the Tigers, and holding a five-point lead at the first break.
Berri’s advantage in the contest would only grow over time, with the margin extending to nine points at half time, and to 15 by the end of the third quarter.
The Demons saw many names sharing in the goal-kicking responsibilities, with Darcy and Patrick Minchella each contributing two majors, while Matthew Benson, Jake Egel, Jacob Grieger, Callan Lloyd, Jordan Marr, and Michael Mcrae all also recording their names on the scoresheet.
Both Minchella boys were among Berri’s best on the day, alongside Brad Rosenzweig, Mitchell Foulds, Shay Hawkins, and Mitchell Cawse.
Talyn Eagle and Will kicked two goals for Loxton, with Harley Campbell and Nickos Katsaitas adding to the tally.
Will was named among Loxton’s best, with Carter Wright, Che Lange, John Fisher, Nathan Brown, and Luke Salmon.
Berri will travel to Renmark this weekend to battle the first-placed Rovers at the Kennel, while Loxton will look to bounce back at home against rivals Loxton North.
