Renmark’s high on victory

RENMARK High School wrestled back the Riverland interschool swimming championship shield at the 2021 carnival in Loxton on Monday night.
Renmark beat Glossop by 95 points, 832 points to 737 points, with Loxton finishing in third and Waikerie fourth.
Glossop won the Most Improved shield after finishing fourth in the championship standings in the 2020 event.
Records tumbled as Nyah Schubert, of Glossop High School, broke Olympian Sophie Edington’s 50-metre backstroke record by .57 seconds.
Glossop High School’s under 15 girls relay team smashed Loxton’s previous record by 5.77 seconds in the 50-metre freestyle relay event.
