Renmark Paringa meetings going online

A RIVERLAND council has made the decision to move its meetings online to limit social contact during the coronavirus emergency.
Renmark Paringa councillors passed a motion at a special meeting held on Monday night allowing future meetings and informal gatherings to take place through electronic means, in an attempt to minimise risks associated with the spread of COVID-19.
Renmark Paringa mayor Neil Martinson said the health of councillors and elected staff members remained a priority during the current emergency.
The next Renmark Paringa Council general meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28.
