Real estate fresh and modern in 2021

NEW owner of Ray White Renmark Paringa, Aaron Willis, says his team’s modern and forward-thinking approach will bring clients a world of opportunity in the current booming property market.
After serving in the Royal Australian Defence Force for 15 years, Mr Willis decided to relocate his family to the Riverland and pursue his passion for real estate.
Mr Willis spent several years developing his skills and forging strong relationships throughout the community before realising his true dreams of business ownership and purchasing the Ray White Renmark Paringa business mid-last year.
He said he is proud to own and lead the locally owned business, which specialises in all aspects of sales and property management throughout the Riverland area.
“While we are a Ray White franchise we are locally owned, and that gives me a huge sense of pride knowing that our success stays within the community that supports us,” Mr Willis said.
Mr Willis, along with property management specialist Danielle Casey and administrator Tegan Smith, combine to bring 30 years of real estate experience to the business.
The trio are based in their new office at 238 Renmark Avenue, and Mr Willis said the brand-new setting suits their modern, fresh approach.
“We are a dedicated and energetic team,” he said.
“I am proud of my team; they have proven time and time again their tireless dedication to not only their clients but also their willingness to continue our implementation of delivering a world-class real estate service to the Riverland.”
Mr Willis said property management is an extremely important part of the business, which is led by property manager Danielle Casey.
“Danielle is very knowledgeable, she always commits 100 per cent of her energy to her clients, both tenants and landlords,” he said.
“She is a fantastic asset for any landlord to have.
“She is very thorough with everything she does and it’s just having that security of someone managing the property.
“She has a very good reputation for looking after properties.”
Mr Willis said tools like virtual tours have changed the real estate game.
“We have received tremendous feedback from both sellers and buyers on the importance of having such a valuable tool available, it has quite literally opened up the traditional open home to the entire country,” he said.
“We have several examples now of the confidence purchasers have in virtual tours. Over the past six months several homes have been sold via virtual tour to purchasers unable to enter SA due to restrictions. With a virtual tour the buyer can inspect the home as if they were standing right there in the home.”
Mr Willis said the property market is an “exciting” prospect at the moment and showed no signs of slowing down.
“Real estate in general is going through a boom at the moment, and it’s positive to see that it is extending to regional areas,” he said.
“Whilst home sales are stronger than ever, the past 12 months have seen a slightly lower rate of homes coming to market.
“The great thing is with the new year this has begun to change, with home owners realising the opportunity that the current market is offering.
Mr Willis said he believes real estate will remain strong, and with record low interest rates now is the perfect time to buy and sell property.
“If anyone is thinking about selling in the next 12 months then maybe consider taking advantage of the current market,” he said.
“If your individual situation permits, perhaps now could be the time to take that step.”
Mr Willis said anyone interested in selling their property can visit his office for advice.
“All appraisals and market updates are completely free and there is definitely no obligation at all,” he said.
“However, the market is changing very quickly at the moment. If you have received a market update from a real estate professional in the past it’s important to note that after 30 days it could be significantly out of date.
“We are currently investing a large amount of time into staying ahead of the game and providing our clients with accurate, up-to-the-day reports on the property market.”
To celebrate the recent purchase and relocation of Ray White anyone who takes the opportunity for a free market update will go in the running to win a three-night Murray River Houseboats stay – and those who list their home for sale will receive a total of 10 entries.
Mr Willis last week was named a Ray White Premier salesperson for his strong and consistent sales, this award places him in the top 25 per cent of all Ray White salespeople in Australia.
