Home damaged in Renmark crash

A RIVERLAND home sustained damage and a local driver was taken to hospital following a car accident in Renmark last week.
Renmark MFS firefighters attended the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Renmark on Thursday, at the intersection of Cowra Street and Ral Ral Avenue.
MFS Renmark firefighter Cameron McNaughton said the accident – which resulted in one driver being taken to hospital – also saw damage caused to a local home.
“One vehicle did not give way and travelled into the path of an oncoming vehicle,” Mr McNaughton said.
“One vehicle went through a brick fence and finished up in the front yard of a house.
“Luckily the house wasn’t damaged too badly, but both vehicles sustained a fair bit of damage.”
Local MFS and SES units were also called to the scene of a crash last Tuesday morning at the corner of Ral Ral Avenue and James Avenue in Renmark.
