Drought forum in Waikerie this Friday

RIVERLAND farmers are encouraged to attend a drop-in drought community forum at Waikerie this Friday, with $500 Rotary household vouchers available.
The Drought Community Outreach Program – in partnership with Rotary Australia – will be held at the Waikerie Lions den on Leonard Norman Drive this Friday from 10am to 2pm.
Designed to make support and information easier to access for rural farmers, attendees will be able to get advice on low-interest loans, the farm household allowance, on-farm emergency water structure rebate scheme, $3000 drought community support initiative, Rotary $500 household vouchers, and much more.
Regional Recovery officers and representatives from government agencies such as NBN, Regional Investment Corporation, and Services Australia, as well as non-government agencies with drought support information, will also be available to talk to.
A free barbecue will be available to attendees.
