Driver flees after Berri crash

A RIVERLAND man has been located by police after fleeing the scene of a vehicle accident in Berri on Saturday morning.
The 38-year-old driver was travelling down Scott Road just before 7am when his Holden Commodore rolled a number of times before landing in nearby grapevines.
Berri MFS station officer Mark Wenman said Berri SAAS, MFS and SES crews, and South Australia Police (SAPOL) responded to triple zero calls from witnesses, but the driver was already out of the vehicle upon arrival.
A SAPOL spokesperson said officers later located the 38-year-old, who submitted a breath test and provided a positive result of 0.115.
He was reported for drink driving and driving without due care. Mr Wenman said the Holden Commodore was a write-off.
