Car vs truck on the Sturt Highway

THREE people fortunately escaped without injuries after their vehicle collided with a truck in Barmera last Wednesday.
Barmera SES, Barmera CFS, SAPOL and SAAS attended the incident on the Old Sturt Highway intersection around 7.40am when three occupants inside a four-wheeled drive clashed with a B-double truck.
SES Barmera unit manager Stuart Lambert said it is believed the thick fog that morning was to blame for the collision.
Mr Lambert said the four-wheeled drive sustained some panel damage, while damage to the B-double was only superficial.
No one was injured.
