PAISLEY twins Sam and Holly Zadow celebrated their eighth birthday last week, and though the family is in self-isolation, they still found a way to take the celebrations.
The family set up a “Honk for Holly and Sam’s birthday” sign outside the house, and passers-by were only too happy to comply.
Mum Jolie Zadow said she had fun watching the kids celebrate with the drivers.
“When you’re a twin, you never celebrate your birthday alone – and it goes double for our two sets of twins,” she said.
“All four of them stood outside near the sign and waved at the cars and trucks – mostly trucks – that went by, and just about every driver honked.
“The kids loved it, and it was really great to see the birthday kids still getting lots of attention on their special day.
“Their older siblings also set up a huge scavenger hunt that took them through the house and our vineyards, plus we made a piñata for the day.
“These are strange times, but funny enough, that made for a really memorable birthday.”
