2021 local charity calendar revealed

THE Waikerie Photography Club’s 2021 calendar has been unveiled, showcasing a range of local attractions, sites and rare nature shots.
Club spokesperson Connie Little said all proceeds from the calendar sales will go towards the Waikerie and Districts Historical Society.
“Each year, money raised from calendar sales are donated to a local not-for-profit,” she said.
“We support the local, independent groups that don’t get much funding from outside sources, and our town history is a very worthy investment.”
Ms Little said the $18 calendar consists of a range of nature and landscape photos taken by members of the club.
“Each of the members picked three of our own favourite photos taken throughout the year, and put them on Facebook for people to vote,” Ms Little said.
“The photos with the highest number of likes were then selected for the calendar.”
After last year’s high demand, 150 copies of the 2021 calendar have been printed, and can be purchased from photography club members, No.1 Home and Gifts, and Rollbusch High Quality Meats.
