IT was nice to enjoy a break from club activities over the Christmas and New Year period. Our first event in 2025 was a dinner meeting, on Monday 13 January, at the Renmark Club, where our guest speaker, Renmark Club general manager Michael Cahill gave a very interesting talk and PowerPoint presentation on his life, his experiences since coming to Renmark and the recent changes to our community club. His presentation was highlighted by details of the major renovations planned over the next 12 months for the upgrade of the Renmark Club balcony area and extension of the building at the riverfront lawned area end to incorporate a new reception area, new toilets, new bar facilities and a conference room.
