A RIVERLAND child care centre will soon increase their car park space, with the expansion a a vital step in addressing the growing demand for childcare services in our region.
Assisting Berri Regional Child Care Centre (BRCCC) to secure a Flying Start Infrastructure Grant earlier this year, Berri Barmera Council provide in-principle support to the centre for use of the road reserve off Fiedler Street, Berri.
“We’re really pleased to support the Berri Regional Child Care Centre as it expands by helping with extra parking on Fiedler Street,” Berri Barmera Council Mayor Ella Winnall said.
“This permit gives the centre a practical solution for now, while we keep looking at longer-term parking and childcare options in the area.
“Childcare is so important for local families and businesses and we’ll keep working with the centre to make sure the community’s needs are supported into the future.”
