WAIKERIE- based residential conveyancer Alisha Wilson who is originally from Lobethal decided to seek a river change with her husband, Travis, and young children in November 2021.

Alisha had worked with McKay Business Services in Adelaide since September 2020 and they valued her so much they allowed her relocate and initially work from home.

The company had been looking to set up a second branch and once she was settled, they opened one up in Waikerie in March 2022.

Alisha has felt warmly welcomed by the community.

“You get to catch up and see lots of people at different activities such as netball or lawn bowls,” the 34-year-old said.

Travis was born in Waikerie and his parents still live in the town.

Their Daughter and Son, 7 and 4, are also enjoying Riverland life.

Alisha started working in the conveyancing industry after she was offered an administration role by an Adelaide firm, not long after leaving school.

“After I started there, I studied an advanced diploma in conveyancing.”

She enjoys helping clients work through the financial and legal process of purchasing or selling a home.

“It is fulfilling and exciting, once the process is successfully completed,” she said.

“We try and make it as easy as possible.”
