Lotus, the 102-year-old 30ft riverboat which was originally built for the Robertson family of Chowilla Station, is expected in Renmark this Thursday afternoon (September 18) nearing the completion of its 600km river journey from Goolwa.

I am disappointed that we, the ratepayers, had to find that out through the paper. Perhaps that would have been better included in the rates review workshop/discussion night?
I freely admit I went there fired up, and slightly aggressive because I wasn’t happy with some of the proposals put forward and the damage they could do to the district.
