SCHAPELLE CORBY'S on the cover of Woman’s Day again.

AS BOB states in his Text to the Editor in Friday's Murray Pioneer the highest rates in South Australia result in less developments and competition.
We are fortunate that Berri Barmera has rates way below the highest and under the average for the state.
The 2007/08 data available from the Local Government Grants Commission shows the average state residential rates to be $957: metropolitan $984 and regional rural $876.
Berri Barmera’s average residential rates for 2010 are $849.
With 75 per cent of residents paying less than $1000 for rates in Berri Barmera, his assumption that to move to another area would save $1000 could only apply to a minority.
